Death of Michael John Glazier
Submitted By Web on Monday, August 07, 2017
It is with broken hearts that we share the tragic loss of Michael Glazier who was a very special person to so many of us and a big part of the OCHL. Our most deepest sympathies go out to the Glazier family and friends of Michael who have been instrumental in the OCHL.

With heartfelt sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Michael, age 35, due to a horrific accident on Thursday August 3, 2017.

Michael will be sadly missed by his parents Mark and Debbie, his fiancée April McGauley, his brother Robert (Kristine) and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and niece Darien.  He is predeceased by his grandparents Bob and Sylvia White and William and Mary Glazier.

Michael lit up any room he entered with his infectious smile.  He had such enthusiasm for living and his country.  Mike played and coached hockey for many years and the New York Rangers have lost their number one fan.  He had a passion for playing golf and could beat any of his uncles at the Calabogie tournament.

Mike was so excited to be a godfather and uncle and was looking forward to planning his wedding to the love of his life.

Relatives and friends may call at Westminster United Church, 1850 Rossland Rd. E. (at Garrard Rd.), Whitby, on Friday August 11, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. with reception to follow.

Donations in Michael’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and donations can be made at makfuneralhome.com
