Help Wanted for Bench Staff

As registration numbers climb and excitement builds for the start of the 2021/2022 season, we are in search of bench staff and timekeepers. We appreciate everyone who stepped up to support in the past and look forward to welcoming new faces to the OCHL. 




Bench Staff
Volunteer position
- includes coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, and managers
- certifications are required for all bench staff except for the manager
- the OCHL will provide you with the necessary information to complete the course(s)
- you will be reimbursed for the certifications
- time commitment is 1-2 times per week depending on the division

Timekeepers - FULL

- must be 13 years of age or older
- the OMHA Off-Ice Officials Clinics will not be offered at this time due to COVID-19, but may be required at a later date
- timekeepers must be able to work independently, are comfortable in a high-paced, emotionally charged environment, punctual, detail-oriented, have working knowledge of the arena clock and an understanding of penalties and how they are recorded
- shifts can start early in the morning and run until later at night

If you can’t commit to the time for these positions, we would appreciate your help during tournament weekends.
