The Oshawa Church League Hockey League is all about making memories. And we stumbled on this heartwarming story that we wanted to share with you!

Durham native Chris Kimmerer, drummer and music producer for country star Thomas Rhett shares his memories of growing up in Oshawa, and one of his fondest memory includes "winning the B Championship in Oshawa Church League Hockey for Northminster United. Those are golden times!"

A Nashville resident since 2003, Kimmerer was born in Oshawa and spent most of his school years there. His family also lived in Scarborough, Pickering and Belleville. Kimmerer is on a worldwide tour with Rhett and we asked him about music, drumming and his Oshawa upbringing.

Read more about this interesting story here.
